Greetings All!

I AM Abena....THE RE~covery Afreekan enslaved in amerikkka and a RE~presentative from the Voices in da Margins. I AM also TrueToTheCause of Afreekan Liberation via Unification utilizing the tool of healthy and effective Communications.
I am and have always been an avid reader and view the world and words through "black colored lens". I agree with JazzyTude that "speaking our minds helps heal" and towards that end, I have developed a social network, a safe space for sharing OUR LIVED EXPERIENCES...current life...behind the screen experiences which hurt. It is a "program" for RE~programming our Afreekan Minds once Brother Keita finishes the 'deprogramming' process.
Thanks for BE~ing here Brother Jaboom and get and Stay Safe all!

Im Jacuma Kambui a founding member of The Talking Drum Collective Who is The Talking Drum Collective?
The Talking Drum Collective is a collective of organizers and website owners who have come together in the spirit Unity for the upliftment of Afrikan People. Over the years we have become the premier Afrikan informational websites. Some of the more popular websites include: TheTalkingDrum.Com ; AssataShakur.Org, which is currently engaged in the Hands Off Assata Campaign

Though these sites are the most popular all of the collective sites are notable. Why the talking drum symbol? During the 1800's the talking drum was banned throughout most of the western hemisphere, for fear of unregulated communication amongst Afrikan People and for fear of coordinated rebellions, due to its ability to communicate with Our People in code and great distances. In the spirit of the talking drum we communicate to Our People information, pride, and hope. The collective is used to create a United Front for Our People to effectively fight as one.

Hello, I just join in hopes of adding to my life and also adding to others as well. I want it known though, right now, that I am about the edification of my race, my culture and while I embrace everyone, I hope to see my people in a better place in life than we are today. That is why I think this site is good for me.

I would like to share my research and I will also tell you this, that I AM CONTRAVERSIAL!. . . And hope that if you don't agree, then by all means tell me, don't shy away! I believe that truth will rise no matter what. And at the end of the day, I am for unity, Black unity and peace...peace for anyone else too!
