July 10th I arrived in town, the next day I got a trim (slight hair cut), Sunday spent some time with my daughter (most beautiful four year old EVER!!!) The rest of the week was just getting used to the town.

A profound comment from an elder
I'm watching a documentary about the H2 workers, a program where the Florida sugar industry from world war 2 thought the 1990's gave 10,000 foreign workers temporary guest worker ("H2") visas to work in the hot sun for 6 months cutting sugar cane for pennies while the sugar tycoons make MILLIONS.

A few random reason why Obama will be hated...
1. He has black in him and NOT BLACK
Most white Americans believe whole heartedly in the one drop rule
But many Black Americans think the exact opposite.
So a black face will be used to do some many things in this nation and (whether good or bad your intentions) you will not please everybody.
